The Gurkhas gave and continue to give their lives for Britain. The British Labour Government
however denies them the right to live in Britain. This is not justice, and the British people have raised their voices
through their Members of Parliament and forced the government to review its decision, with support from the actress Joanna
Lumley. This demonstrates how powerful common citizens can be in getting the government to do what is right, through
their elected representatives and petitions through the Sun, Daily Mail and other newspapers. [Photo courtesy of British
